GI EXPERTISE is a Human Resources consulting firm specialized in recruitment, temporary staffing, and HR outsourcing, with operations in West Africa, particularly in Guinea, Togo, and Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire). The firm supports its clients in identifying talents and strengthening their teams.

As part of its activities, GI EXPERTISE, in partnership with Carrefour Market, is recruiting ten (10) Stock Management Managers (M/F) to strengthen its teams.

Position: Stock Management Manager (10 positions)

Main Objective

Ensure the permanent availability of products while optimizing stock levels to meet customer needs, reduce logistics costs, and minimize losses related to stock shortages, overstocking, and shrinkage.

Main Responsibilities

1. Stock Management and Optimization

• Plan stock levels according to sales forecasts.
• Monitor daily incoming, outgoing, and transferred goods.
• Optimize product turnover.
• Prevent and minimize stock shortages.
• Reduce overstocking and slow-moving products.
• Ensure proper product placement in storage areas.

2. Goods Receiving and Control

• Supervise goods receiving operations.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders.
• Control the quantity and quality of received products.
• Identify and manage discrepancies, non-conformities, and supplier claims.

3. Inventory Management

• Organize cycle counts and annual inventories.
• Ensure the accuracy of physical and system stock levels.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies.
• Implement corrective action plans to improve stock accuracy.

4. Performance Analysis and Reporting

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including:

• Stock-out rate.
• Product availability rate.
• Stock turnover.
• Stock value.
• Stock coverage.
• Known and unknown shrinkage rate.
• Inventory accuracy.
• Prepare regular reports.
• Recommend continuous improvement actions.

5. Team Management

• Supervise storekeepers and stock controllers.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Train and support new employees.
• Evaluate individual and team performance.
• Develop team skills.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures.

6. Information Systems Management

• Use ERP/WMS stock management systems.
• Ensure stock data accuracy and updates.
• Monitor system transactions and stock movements.
• Participate in improving stock management processes.

7. Quality, Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
• Guarantee product traceability.
• Monitor expiry dates of food products.
• Ensure compliance with storage standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of stock management.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and logistics operations.
• Inventory management expertise.
• Data analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or equivalent).
• Ability to monitor and analyze logistics performance indicators.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5 equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Business, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in stock management or logistics, preferably in the retail industry.
• Previous team management experience is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Work environment: stores, warehouses, or logistics platforms.
• Availability required during weekends, public holidays, and peak business periods.
• Occasional travel between sites depending on operational requirements.
