As part of its activities, GI EXPERTISE, in partnership with a major telecommunications company, is recruiting a:

Channel Supply Manager (01) – M/F

Position Objective

The Channel Supply Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing project supply chain operations, ensuring product availability, timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with logistics and customs requirements.

Main Responsibilities

1. Project Supply Management

• Supervise the implementation of project supply plans.
• Monitor purchase orders (POs), deliveries, and overall project execution.
• Ensure timely, reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective project supply.
• Act as the main point of contact and owner for project supply activities.

2. Coordination with Sales Teams and Customers

• Implement supply strategies defined by the customer account department.
• Coordinate with customers regarding planning requirements, product configurations, and B2B processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply cycles, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.

3. Supply Chain Risk Management

• Identify, analyze, and anticipate supply and demand risks.
• Define and implement appropriate solutions to secure product availability.
• Ensure supply capacity in line with contractual commitments.

4. Logistics Planning and Operations Monitoring

• Develop and manage supply plans covering:
• equipment shipment;
• goods arrival;
• customs clearance operations;
• final delivery;
• preparation of required resources.
• Monitor plan execution and adjust solutions according to project changes or configuration updates.
• Ensure overall project supply performance.

5. Country Customs and Logistics Management

• Supervise customs clearance operations related to Huawei activities in Côte d’Ivoire.
• Support customers with customs clearance and transportation processes.
• Improve logistics efficiency while controlling costs and operational risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customs authorities and logistics partners.
• Ensure customs compliance, audit management, and monitoring of Logistics Service Providers (LSPs).

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain management, international logistics, or project coordination.
• Experience in the telecommunications, IT, network equipment, or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and international transportation processes.
• Proven experience managing suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and Supply Chain/ERP management systems.
• Knowledge of the Huawei environment or telecommunications projects will be considered an advantage.
